We just had a wonderful two day visit with our good friends Maggie and Piero. On Friday we made our way through the winding steep hilled roads of Ithica NY to the sweet house that Maggie and Piero are renting. After an amazing dinner at the Moosewood Restaurant and Mojitos at a favorite bar we headed back to their house to pop open some bubbly to celebrate both of our engagements (their wedding will be next summer too, July 12 to be exact).
The next morning we headed out to explore Buttermilk Falls. A gorge-ous hike along equally beautiful pools and falls. Maggie was brave and creeped behind a waterfall while we all watched. After she came out all the kids that had seen her do it had to try for themselves.
We headed home for dinner and a fire on their back porch.
Sunday started off with a typical Sunday brunch and then home for some good old fashioned couch and more catch up time. Our visit felt much too short, we absolutely love Mags and P.
